If you are using Sage or QuickBooks Online and want to send payment links to your customers you can actually send this link using anything you like via email or another platform.
You may want to prefill the payment form with the invoice number and amount so that your customer doesn’t have to type it in. This has to be done manually for every link you send since every invoice will have a different ID and amount. We are working with our partners to make this automatic on links in future.
Here’s what you need to do:
If your URL looks like this (THIS IS AN EXAMPLE AND NOT YOUR LINK):
https://payments-1509705731.withbolt.com/b/BO010100/invoice
Just add this to the end:
?id=1002&amount=1.00
So you get
https://payments-1509705731.withbolt.com/b/BO010100/invoice?id=1002&amount=1.00
Edit the number after id= with your invoice id
And edit the amount.
You can choose to fill only one of those variables if you want, for example just the invoice number - https://payments-1509705731.withbolt.com/b/BO010100/invoice?id=1002
Test your link and send it to your customer.
