How to connect Stripe

Connecting to Stripe is an OAUTH process, this requires you to log into Stripe, which then shares a security token with us. To complete this you need a Stripe login with administrator access on your Stripe account.


Setup

1. When prompted, select “Connect Stripe” to login to your Stripe Account

2. If you have not recently been logged into Stripe you will be prompted with a log in screen, you will need to log in as an administrator of the account.

Tip! The application will be listed as “Shuttle Global Payment Logistics” who we partner with.

3. If you have multiple Stripe accounts you will be prompted which one you want to use, or you can create a new one

4. If you “Create new Account” or select a Stripe account has not yet been activated, you may be take through their onboarding process, this will vary country to country. If you are already using Stripe skip to the next step. When prompted select to “Allow Access” to the account.

You will also need to add your bank account for payouts.

5. When you are returned to the app, the connection will be tested and you will be presented a green “Connected to Stripe” message, if there is an error with the connection, use the “Reconnect” button however take care to connect to the same account, otherwise, saved payment methods and refunds will return an error message.

Our integration with Stripe offers several options:

  • Require address (AVS): This will require customer enter their billing address
  • Enable ACH: This will enable ACH as a payment method, you must also enable this option on Stripe
  • Enable Multibanco: This will enable Multibanco as a payment method, you must also enable this option on Stripe
  • Enable SEPA: This will enable SEPA as a payment method, you must also enable this option on Stripe
